#00 - Why “The Saturday Fraud Strategist”?

Yes. It is finally here.

Next week, Saturday to be exact, the first issue of my newsletter will be launching.

For you, it's just another email.

For me, it's the result of one full year of work.

A result which is also the first step of a new journey.

It's been a year since I started writing consistently about fraud strategy on Linkedin. At first, once a week. Quickly it grew to twice a week.

Sharing my thoughts was almost a compulsion. It was always the case with me, with everything I feel passionate about. And so writing on Linkedin was never a chore. It was a release.

What came as a surprise, was the reaction.

People actually engaged with my writing.

They cheered, laughed, argued, disagreed and more than anything - taught me new things about my profession of 15 years now.

Finding my voice and finding my community has been one of the most impactful things that happened to me in the past 12 months.

So why a newsletter?

Well, Linkedin has its limitations.

You need to satisfy the ever-elusive algorithm gods and their always-changing demands.

This impacted my writing quite a bit. Most of all, I felt like I'm being forced to keep my writing quite superficial. There were always things I had to self-censure to keep it light and ultra accessible.

And so the idea of launching a newsletter came to life.

Being able to share my thoughts, knowledge and experience, in a way that fits me. And only me. My own not-so-secret garden.

What am I going to cover here?

Let's start with what it won't:

- News digests

- Vendor promotions

- Copy-pasting my Linkedin content

- Fluff

So what will it cover?

Every Saturday expect to get a 4-6 minute original read about Fraud Strategy. We will go deeper into topics, sharing more knowledge, but keeping it still quite accessible.

My aim is to make each newsletter practical and actionable. My goal: compel you to take one action every week. Even if it's just to send a clarification question to your team.

Is it only for fraud professionals then?

Not at all.

Fraud Strategy sits at the intersection of business growth, customer experience, and risk management - making it relevant for everyone from product managers to C-suite executives.

All are welcome.

Made it up to here?

I want to personally thank you for joining the ride. Each subscriber gives me more motivation to write and share. This really means a lot to me.

Have anything to share yourself? Please write me. I'm reading all my emails and will be thankful for any feedback, comments or questions you might have.

That’s all for this week.

See you next Saturday.
